1. Heading North...

   I had a lovely trip to Callander last week to deliver some new work to Galleria Luti.  It's a lovely gallery in the middle of the town and I had the chance to look around and admire all their paintings.  I had quite a few camping trips to the Trossachs when I lived in Edinburgh so it was lovely to go back and explore again.  The painting below is called "The Clachan" and has some of my favourite Belted Galloway Cows. I hope some of you manage to visit the gallery to see my work...

   

2. New Work

   I've been busy putting some new work together some of which will be turned in to cards in time for my attending the British Craft Trade Show next month.  As usual it's all go.  The painting above is just finished and it doesn't have a title yet so it's just Hedgehog and Moose for now. The day after I painted this there was a real mouse scuttled out from under the sofa!  It's the first time I've ever seen a mouse in our house...strange coincidence.
